WOW! It's good to be back here.

I have some good news to do with all this time I have been putting into my school work and away from this blog.

I had to make my first story Interior Design storyboard

for my intro. to interior design class at school (yes I am in an INTRO class) and my teacher loved my storyboard so much she put it up in a featured display to showcase.

YEA!

As soon as I get it back I will take pics and post them. I am pretty proud of it.

I am so in love with the explosions of color in this townhouse and the mix of prints and patterns are working so well.

The bold colored painting makes a for an inviting statement as the focal point in the room which is planted directly over the fireplace.

BEFORE YOU READ:

MY APOLOGIES FOR THIS BEING SO LONG

I have really dropped the ball.

I have been so busy with my school studies that I seriously have not had any extra time in my life for blogging.

I know some for you may not know that I am not only a wife (to the most handsome man) but also a mother of a 1 1/2 year old boy (who is equally as cute and handsome as his daddy). That's right I am the

queen of the house hold!!

Those two duties and the nonnegotiable responsibilities that come along with it combined with being a registered full time student of 15 credits is pretty much kicking my butt with any free time.

(My husband is a full time student, too!)

But as it goes, I am learning the most amazing things and can't get enough of expanded my knowledge; I LOVE TO LEARN!

I am in my 3rd semester for my program to become a

TEXTILE DESIGNER

and let me tell you this semester just got a whole lot more interesting.

I am learning the CAD program and how to actually translate my ideas for patterns to the screen then to the fabric. It is the most amazing moment when all your hard work has come to a point of pay off. I can actually see my dreams before me!! I can't wait for what's ahead of me and the things to come. I know they are going to be grand!!

So thank you WONDERFUL readers, all 23 of you and growing for finding a little inspiration from

Design Parlor.

I am considering putting a branch framed mirror about my master bed.

Some examples are a sunburst inspired frame made from twigs that I can DIY or I kind of love the idea of a metal gold branched mirror. Who can forget that amazing oversized bathroom mirror of what looks like washed up drift wood in the Domino book.

In my home my dinning chairs are aqua, actually the same color as the gardening glove in the first picture and the curtains and vase in the second. I love statement that color makes.
